Hi I am looking into purchasing this Crosby Hook. I am purchasing it to replace a hook that I currently have but I am not sure of the part number. This looks to be pretty close to what I need after checking the dimensions. I was wondering what will the thread of the shank be for this hook after purchasing? I attached a pic of the hook that I currently have. Thanks,Josh McNeill View answer

Is it possible to put one end around a fork 6wide x 2-1/2 thick and attach a safety hook to the other end. I build and sell concrete water troughs. All of the troughs have stainless steel cable loops cast into the floor for handling. These cable loops are from 1/8 to 5/16 cable. They weigh anywhere from 500 to 5000 lbs each with 3 loops per trough. I need a fast way to handle these troughs. View answer

Will I be able to fit a Crosby 3/8" G-2140 shackle to this chain? The pin will be attached to something else but I need to slide the bow of the shackle into the chain loop. My 1/4" grade 70 chain will do this but not sure of this chain. Thanks. View answer
