The trolley is not advertised or rated as "weatherproof." It is constructed from durable steel with sealed, "lubed-for-life" bearings, making it well suited for industrial environments, including outdoor use when properly maintained. It is also ATEX-rated for limited use in certain hazardous environments. However, the manufacturer does not state that it is weatherproof or intended for continuous exposure to rain, standing water, or marine/salt-air environments.
For outdoor installations, we recommend protecting the trolley from direct weather whenever possible and establishing a regular inspection and maintenance program to prevent corrosion and ensure continued safe operation.
