Case hardened verse through hardened what's actually better? I understand the difference and I would have figured that through hardened would have taken much longer to cut through with the grinder but after watching your videos on the Pewag case hardened chain and this Peerless through hardened chain seems like it didn't offer much more resistance to the grinder even though it's hardened all the way through. I have a few trees in the near future I need to cut down and they are off grid areas. I am looking at using tree spikes to get to the branches but will need other things as well to secure myself to the tree while cutting. The tress range in diameter from 24" to 48", maybe smaller or larger. It's not practical to hire out the jobs. I will be setting up hunting platforms and topping trees.
