I want to vertically raise a model railroad set 5-6 feet to clear floor space in my garage, and also to save my marriage. The train set is mounted on a 4x8 feet sheet of 5/8" plywood and is HEAVY. It contains rail track, several light plastic buildings, and a 10x18' panel to house transformers (the xformers can be removed to save weight when lifting). I have hooked up 3/8" rope to each of the 4 plywood corners. Solutions? View answer
