I wish to use 3/32" 7x19 SS aircraft cable to guy a 25' mast, this isn't a lifting application. Should I use the 1/8" clip?

There is not exactly a spec on this. You will see some mfg's call out their clips as being 1/16" - 3/32" compatible, and others that say 3/32" - 1/8" compatible. If it's a low-stress application, and the clips are sufficiently tightened and installed correctly, and checked periodically for slippage, either should work.
