I plan on locking up an electric bike. Sometimes I leave it on my rv bike rack overnight at a campground or I may leave for a while and go to dinner etc. I also use the bike to go to grocery store. So, I'm concerned not only about security but weight. What is the weight of 6' of the 3/8" chain lock combo vs. the 9/32" combo and what would you recommend? View answer

What is the allowable load on the 7/8" Sheave? Does it exceed the allowable for 7/8" wire rope? (Ex. For 6x36 Warrington Seale w/Fiber Core the Allowable load = 20% of 35.4 ton break strength or 14.6k) Does the 7/8" Sheave have a capacity that matches or exceeds 14.6k assuming the bolt or pin in double shear & housing do as well. I need to replace 200' of cable on my log skidding winch. The unit currently has 3/8" 6x36 on it but I noticed in the description here that 6x36 is more susceptible to abrasion. This is actually what wore out the current cable. Do you have a suggestion on what if any other would be better for my application and would you suggest replacing with galvanized or stainless?
