Yes. According to REID Lifting, PORTAGANTRY portable aluminum gantry systems are load tested and supplied with certification documentation, including a certificate of conformance and an individual record of examination or testing.
One of the advantages of the PORTAGANTRY system is its portable, modular design. Disassembling, reassembling, or reconfiguring the gantry does not require an additional load test, provided the system is assembled correctly in accordance with REID's instructions and remains within its approved configuration and rated capacity.
However, proper inspection remains essential. REID provides detailed inspection and maintenance guidelines covering the gantry's structural components, trolley, fasteners, castors, and other critical parts. The system must be inspected before use and undergo periodic examinations by a competent person in accordance with applicable requirements.
Additional load testing may be necessary where required by site-specific procedures, applicable regulations, or a competent person's assessment.
