The 3-ton Ocean Hand Chain Hoist uses two strands (falls) of load chain, sometimes referred to as a 2:1 configuration. This 3-ton manual chain hoist uses 10 x 30 mm Grade 80 load chain and has a rated lifting capacity of 6,600 lbs. The double-strand load chain configuration is standard on the 3-ton Ocean model and provides the mechanical advantage needed for lifting heavier loads while maintaining manageable hand-chain effort.
