Laclede does not publish a specific angle-grinder cut time for this lock, so we cannot provide an accurate estimate of how long it would take to defeat with a power tool. The lock features a brass body protected by a 3 mm heat-treated case rated at HRc 50, along with a heat-treated anti-drill hole cover.
We also offer additional heavy-duty security lock options, including the ABUS GRANIT 37/70 and Pewag/Viro 4153. Cut resistance can vary based on the lock, cutting tool, abrasive wheel, access and other conditions, and we do not have comparative test data establishing specific cut times for these locks.
