Is this clamp limited to a vertical lift or can the attached cable be at an angle?

The IPBCNS is designed to lift the beam with the clamp centered in line with the beam’s center of gravity and the beam web maintained vertically. The lifting eye has some articulation, but Crosby’s instructions do not specify an allowable angle for intentionally side-loading the clamp with the lifting cable. If your application requires the hoist line to pull at an angle rather than generally vertically over the clamp, we recommend confirming the specific configuration with Crosby before use.
