A 32–33" pant waist falls within the Medium range, but waist size is only a general guide for selecting a climbing saddle. The hip-to-hip (“Dee to Dee”) measurement is the best way to determine the correct size. Measure across your back from hipbone to hipbone as shown in the sizing diagram. A Medium corresponds to approximately a 22" Dee-to-Dee measurement and a 32–40" waist. If your Dee-to-Dee measurement is closer to 20", a Small may provide the better fit.
