Yes. The Fixed Jaw SUPERCLAMP can be side loaded, and when the load is applied at a 45° angle, the clamp’s rated Working Load Limit (WLL) is reduced by 50%. Always use the reduced WLL when determining the appropriate clamp capacity for side-loading applications and follow the manufacturer’s side-loading guidelines. Note that S1 and S2 models are not approved for side loading.
