- This pump will work horizontally. The pump will work vertically if the pump piston is facing the ground. Therefore, if the end of handle is facing towards the sky the pump will work but will not if it is reversed. As long as oil can flow into the pump piston which is where the handle is connected to the pump, the pump will work.
- This pump holds 213 cubic inches of oil or just short of 1 gallon. There are 232 cubic inches in a gallon.
