The rope grab complies with OSHA 1910.140 and OSHA 1926.502 requirements, but Ultra-Safe does not publish a 420 lb user capacity for this model. While OSHA standards contain provisions addressing workers up to 420 lbs when equipment is specifically designed and tested for that capacity, the manufacturer has not stated that this particular rope grab is approved for a 420 lb total worker weight. If a 420 lb capacity is required, we recommend obtaining written confirmation from Ultra-Safe before selecting this product.
