All Ultra-Containment Berm Economy Models allow vehicles or equipment to be driven into the containment area. To prevent damage, sidewalls must be manually lowered before entry and reinstalled once equipment is positioned inside the berm.
For use on concrete or other hard surfaces, we strongly recommend placing a ground tarp beneath the berm to protect against abrasion and punctures from below. When tracked or wheeled equipment is used, adding track belts inside the berm helps distribute weight and significantly extend the life of the containment system.
If your application involves frequent drive-in/drive-out traffic, a more durable containment berm model may be better suited for higher-cycle access.
Resistance / strength specifications:
-
Hydrostatic resistance: 300 psi (minimum)
-
Puncture resistance: 50 lbs (typical)
