It appears you'd need to go up one size to 3/8". If you look at the PDF attachment, the "S" dimension is only 3.15 for the 5/16" size.
What is thickest bundle of material that this object can lift? 5/16" x 5 ft Type QOBW 4-Leg Grade 100 Chain Sling - 14800 lbs WLL
I just want to make sure the hook has enough space in it to lift a 3.5 inch bundle of sheet steel.
