The weld-in insert has a chamfer that matches the profile on the tool. ADB (the product manufacturer) does not authorize the use of the tool without the insert.
What is the difference when lifting with or without the weldable plate #36900? I see crews using a cutout hole only. ADB Fast-Lok Plate Tool
