Either would work well. Overall the Ichiban is considered a higher quality, sharper and longer-lasting blade, which should perform better between the two.
I have a Jameson 18' pole saw set-up. Which blade would be better for this application- the Ichiban or the Ichigeki? I have both as hand saws, and was thinking that since the Ichigeki is stiffer it might be a better choice. I'd appreciate your opinion, please. Samurai Ichigeki 13" Curved Saw
