We cannot give a definitive yes, but we can say that it will likely work. The only concern with an oversized sheave is that the wire rope lacks proper sidewall support in the groove, and thus flattens out a little prematurely. But this would not be terribly exaggerated running 1/2" line in this 6" block. Not ideal, but not a total red flag either.
