The rating is based on the pins being fully seated, and in checking with the manufacturer, they are not able to provide a revised rating for pins that are not fully seated.
I am looking to get clarity on seating requirement prior to a lift. Do the pins allow a variance to be 3/4 seated or are there directions and requirements to be fully seated to the shoulder in writing? Skookum 1-7/8" x 12" Manhole Pin - 10000 lbs WLL
