I install Safes for a living and sometimes have to go down Bilco doors with Safes anywhere between 800 pounds and 1500 pounds and I hate having guys at the bottom because its dangerous. Can these anchors be used to hold back the safe as it goes down?

In general we would not recommend this item for that type of purpose. You could instead rig up rope with a figure 8 descender to help control the lowering speed of the safe. There are many options really but without seeing your exact application, it's hard to suggest something too specific.
