I am installing a large swing under a porch. Will this work to fasten 1" Manila rope to form a loop? Total width will be 2.

To be clear, cable clamps (aka "wire rope clips") are not recommended for use on soft rope, rather they are designed for use with steel cable. That's not to say it wouldn't hold for your application, but it is a word of caution. We would recommend nothing larger than a 1" clamp for use with your 1" rope--when talking about cable, you match size-for-size. It still could slip with your Manila rope, however.
